The Qolsys IQ Panel 4 is the heart of the alarm system. Its 7-inch HD touchscreen lets you arm or disarm the property, see which doors and windows are open, review alerts and control compatible devices. All sensors communicate with it; when an event occurs, the panel identifies the zone, triggers the programmed response and sends the signal over Wi‑Fi and cellular to Alarm.com and the monitoring centre, depending on your package. Its 8-megapixel front camera can take a photo at disarming so you know who used the system; it can also be used for certain alarm events and for remote viewing when enabled.

What’s really inside the panel
The IQ Panel 4 is made by Qolsys, a Johnson Controls brand. It combines the system’s brain, the security radios, cellular communication, the screen, the siren and the front camera. Alarm.com provides the mobile platform and interactive services.

Important: the IQ Panel 4 comes in several versions. The LTE carrier, the legacy-sensor frequency and some capabilities vary by exact model. That’s why Solution Alarme Plus checks the panel number before confirming compatibility. Alarm.com cameras generally use the IP network; they are not PowerG sensors.
